Rocky Mountain Human Services

Rocky Mountain Human Services

Description

Rocky Mountain Human Services (formerly Denver Options) is a nonprofit organization that provides services for developmentally and cognitively disabled individuals and their families throughout Colorado.

The 52,000 square foot main office centralized all of the organization’s departments to maximize efficiency and create a single point of service for customers. The building also provides for future expansion and sub-lease flexibility. Extensive programming services were provided including interviews with all departments to understand critical adjacencies and separations.

Functions are broken up into distinct public, semi-public, semi-private and private spaces to facilitate all levels of therapy, counseling, and assessment. The highly visible and easily discernible entrance assists customer way-finding and provides a physical reminder that the customers are the focal point of their work.

Shane Martin has designed and managed nearly 100,000 square feet of office projects for RMHS since 2001.
