Winter Park Transit Center
Winter Park Transit Center
- Commercial, Core & Shell
- 14/12/18
Description
Arrow B has partnered with WC Johnson, LLC to redevelop the ground level of Winter Park’s public parking structure. The space served as a covered skating rink during ski season though the empty slab was underutilized the rest of the year. Already an important stop on Winter Park’s transit system, part of the space provides an enclosed stop with a host of amenities for the active and rapidly growing community. The Transit Center is also home to Arrow B clients Big Trout Brewing Company and Lion Head Coffee.
Corten cladding, reclaimed wood siding, and accent lighting bring mountain charm to the nondescript 80’s structure. On the north end a contemporary entry vestibule anchors the corner and brings prominence to the brewery while providing balance to the activity of the Transit Center to the south. Glazed overhead doors on the brewery bring the outside in and a large patio engages the adjacent, and always bustling, Cooper Creek Square.
